Exumas: Little Farmer's to Rat Cay

Little Farmer's Cay Anchorage

From Staniel we cruised south to Little Farmer's Cay, sitll with our group of buddy boat trawlers.  Little Farmers offers a great anchorage for settled weather, as we were having this evening.  Everyone went over to Simon Says for a pizza party and to watch Direct TV.  What a treat!

Little Farmer's Cay

This island is home to about 50 people all descendants of two families who were the original settlers.

Little Farmer's Cay Cemetery

The island graveyard shows a history of long lives and a place of honor for the original settlers.

Rat Cay Anchorage

Rat Cay is a great stop just north of Great Exuma Island, home of Georgetown.  This Cay offers a couple of great anchorages and lovely beaches.  Here we are turning the corner from the anchorage behind the island to one a little more exposed but with a nice swimming beach.

Another Beautiful Sunset - Rat Cay
