Indiscipline Cruise 2000
|
Picton was one of our first stops after Trenton and Belleville.
While neither of those places was much to write home about, we loved Picton and stayed for
a long and much deserved rest. |
The Prince Edward Cruising Club in Picton was one of the most friendly
groups of people we have found. I don't know how to describe it except it is not a
marina, it is a club, but that we were as welcome as if we had stayed there for the last
10 years (like many of the boats you see in this picture). We shopped and fished and
rested and swam and joined the locals in a bring-your-own meat barbeque. |
After
too short of a stay, we headed onto Kingston. The run was so
long and calm I was able to sit and read at the helm. It seemed like it took 2 hours
to pass this power plant and the nuclear plant just beyond. |
