Indiscipline

Great Lakes Marine in Port Washington, Wisconsin did a great job putting the flybridge and radar arch back on. We took another two days of hard work putting everything else back on, including the damaged grab rail and rub rail, bimini, and re-wiring the flybridge controls. Then onto the truck and down to the lake. |
|
I'll say. At 23,000 pounds and 21 feet high from props to tip of the GPS antenna, this is an oversized load. We had the nerve racking pleasure of watching the truck pass us in our car while taking Indiscipline down to the water. We weren't too worried though, since they do this all the time. But when they launched at the ramp and the swim step went under water, I think I grew another white hair. |
| But all went well and we had her back in the water where a boat belongs on June 30. Our friends John and Helen came to watch and helped us dock in our first fresh water slip. The boat seems to like the new taste, but I think she sits a little lower in the water here. Maybe it's because of a years supply of our living piled in. |

We spent the 4th of July on the bow watching the fireworks show in Port Washington. |
| Now here's something you don't see everyday. I wonder how many nautical miles per gallon they get. |
