Leland
is a tourist town with lots of shopping and restaurants. People from all
over Michigan come here for crafts and clothing and to walk on the docks.
It was like a boat show, so we decided to give Indiscipline a bath and
wax. It was amazing to see how many boats they could get into the
marina by rafting them together against the pilings. There were nice
beaches here, but they were all private and NO DOGS. It was a fun stop,
but we were glad to get going out of this tourist town. |

This is the South Manitou Island Lighthouse. It is not in use anymore. The bay here is beautiful with clear blue/green water. |
